Introducing Micci's 3rd single off her album - Will You Remember Me.
This song is about what goes through your mind when struggling with low self esteem.
Her whole album was inspired by the soundtrack of one of her favourite movies Drive - giving it a nostalgic, 80’s feel, with heartfelt lyrics, sing-along melodies and an energy that takes your mind to a summer festival. It is a reflection of her experience performing, which has been for many audiences the size that most only dream of; as the touring live vocalist for production duo Peking Duk since 2017. Prior to this incredible opportunity, she completed a world tour with production duo - Flight Facilities as their live vocalist.
Leading up to these gigs, Micci had been singing and writing since she could walk and talk.
At the beginning of 2021, she teamed up with long-time friend/producer, Chris Arnott AKA Friendless; with songwriting/production 'sketches' and references from Robyn, Kavinsky, Com Truise, Crazy P, The Weekend, Haim and Fleetwood Mac.
The creative process felt right from day one - both Micci and Chris having a clear understanding of each others strengths (as recording artists and live performers);
the desire to push each other beyond expectations;
Micci's overall vision and direction;
and Chris's extensive experience and knowledge of production crossing over many different genres.
Micci's overall passion to create makes her very hands-on with not only the music, but all visuals as well, directing/producing/editing the music video for Didn’t Want Love; her live-show visuals and all print art for the project. Stay tuned for plenty more new music, videos and merchandise!
